Our first product.

The process to develop a product ours was a great experience, which showed us the immense defects of the textile industry, but also proved how it's possible to do much better than what you're used to seeing!

We wanted our product to be the most sustainable possible. We also wanted to reinforce that to be sustainable, it doesn't need to be more expensive. The objective is to try to convey a good message of sustainability, reducing many of the associated stigmas
.

To do this, we started by talking to dozens of Portuguese producers (thanks for your help in the stories 😉). The choice of materials was something VERY important to us, we already knew that a large part of organic cotton is produced in India and China, as they have more favorable ecosystems , avoiding inadequate production and greater expenditure resources.

After the material is produced, cotton is treated in Bangladesh, the country that manufactures the most clothes in the world. And here began our great dilemma, including whether it was worth moving forward. It was difficult to find producers with certificates of work conditions, animal testing, organic materials and consumer safety, but we found it! We work directly with producers to understand everything behind the production.

From here, the products come to Portuguese territory, passing through Rotterdam. Finally, only in Portuguese territory is the product  finalized, where finishing, embroidery and labels are made. Our label is transparent, mentioning the part of the process that is not carried out in Portuguese territory.

These Shirts are made from recycled organic fibers and are certified:

- STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, PETA, Organic Blended and Recycled Blended.
